Is it the green tea
or the excitement of new
possibilities?

The third degree burns,
generated by love that
intense, never heal.

Juggling emotions,
we catch happiness with one hand,
sadness the other.

Drive two hours to help
two elderly parents sort
their life, then price it.

You are only as
good as you trust yourself to
be. Therefore, trust more.

When your wish comes true
you must ask yourself – can you
survive happily?

What we wish for shines
brightest when out of reach. Once
grasped, its luster dims.

Morning sunshine. First
rays awaken the front lawn
to glittering frost.

Humidity, haze
recede. Distant hills emerge
honed sharp by cool rains.
